Kristen Ambrosi is a perceptive artist whose paintings explore aesthetic relationships and metaphorical themes across a diverse portfolio of subjects. She harmonizes intimacy and expansiveness to create pieces that celebrate the landscapes of human experience.

A Studio Arts graduate of Maine's prestigious Bowdoin College, she became the first artist to be selected for summer residency on Kent Island in Canada. Immersion into the cultures of New York, Polynesia and Italy has informed and influenced her work as an expression of spirit and inquiry. She has been both recognized and commissioned for her sensitivity and ability as a visual communicator.

Dedicated to the study of yoga, she delights in discovering beautiful parallels of possibility throughout her painting, her practice and her life. The dynamics of form, the experience of the heart and the opportunity for observation profoundly inspire her recent work.

She lives in the Garden State with her Emmy-award winning husband and their two wonderful children.
